Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has no plans to upgrade the railway rolling stock of the country in 2015. Such notification was received by PJSC ‘Kryukov Railway Car Building Works’ (KRCBW) to his appeal with a request to provide state orders.

This year does not include funds for the purchase of freight wagons. While it is assumed only buy diesel locomotive produced by ‘KRCBW’ amounting to 110 million USD, - stated in notification of Ministry.

By the end of 2014, reduced the production of cargo railway cars by 54.7 % compared with 2013 year - up to 2.406 thousand units. At the same time, released one passenger railway car in 2014, whereas in 2013, 74 units were produced. However, 95 metro wagons were upgraded intended for ‘Kiev Metro’.

PJSC ‘Kryukov Railway Car Building Works’ is the only company in CIS, having a well-established current production of two types of cars - passenger and cargo. In general, produces railway platforms, tanks, bunker type wagons, gondola and passenger wagons, spare parts and carts for cargo wagons, wheel sets, subway cars, escalators and spare parts, containers, road machinery.
